La Liga (Week 25) : Betis beats Malaga 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 28, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 25: After losing 4-1 to Granada on February 25 and 1-2 to Sevilla on February 25, Los Beticos returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Malaga this Tuesday.
Malaga had started off well by taking the lead in the 39th minute with a goal by Fornals Pablo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Beticos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Martin '48 and Sanabria Antonio '74).
Real Betis climbed to 14th place with 27 points from 24 games, only one point behind UD Las Palmas.
