La Liga (Week 25) : Granada beats Alavés 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 1, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 25: After losing 3-1 to Athletic Bilbao on February 26, Los Nazaríes bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Alavés this Wednesday.
Granada dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Wakaso Mubarak in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Nazaríes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cuenca in the 53rd minute.
Deportivo Alavés remains in 11st place with 33 points from 25 games, 2 points behind Celta Vigo, which has a game in hand.
