La Liga (Week 26) : Alavés and Sevilla play out 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Mar. 6, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 26: Sevilla was held to a 1-1 draw by Alavés on Monday.
Sevilla players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French forward Wissam Ben Yedder in the 23rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Alavés with a saving goal from Katai Aleksandar in the 75th minute.
Sevilla FC remains in third place with 56 points from 26 games, 3 points behind Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
