La Liga (Week 27) : Alavés beats Malaga 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 27: After their 1-1 draw against Sevilla on March 6, Los Babazorros returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Malaga this Saturday.
Alavés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Moroccan defender Zouhair Feddal in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Babazorros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mendez Edgar in stoppage time.
Deportivo Alavés climbed to 10th place with 37 points from 27 games, 2 points behind RCD Espanyol.
