SPAIN, Mar. 12, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 27: After a 2-3 victory over Real Betis on March 3, La Real lost 2-0 against Athletic Bilbao.
Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Raúl García in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Williams in the 56th minute.
Real Sociedad remains in fifth place with 48 points from 27 games, 4 points behind Atletico Madrid.
