La Liga (Week 28) : Real Madrid beats Bilbao 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 18, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 28: Three wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their success against Eibar and Real Betis, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Saturday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Karim Benzema in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Casemiro Carlos in the 68th minute.
Real Madrid remains in first place with 65 points from 27 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
