La Liga (Week 27) : Real Madrid defeats Betis 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 12, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their 1-4 win against Eibar on March 4, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Real Betis this Sunday.
Real Madrid goalkeeper Navas Keylor opened the score in the 25th minute with an own goal, before seeing Real Madrid catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo. 1-1 at half time. Los Blancos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Ramos with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Real Madrid climbed to first place with 62 points from 26 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
