La Liga (Week 27) : Espanyol beats Las Palmas 4-3
SPAIN, Mar. 10, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 27: After losing 2-0 to Villarreal on March 4, Los Periquitos bounced back with a 4-3 victory over Las Palmas this Friday.
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to goals from López ('1) and Moreno ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Piatti '53/penalty and Jurado Jose '74).
RCD Espanyol remains in 9th place with 39 points from 27 games, tie on points with SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
