La Liga (Week 26) : Real Madrid beats Eibar 4-1
SPAIN, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 26: After their 3-3 draw against Las Palmas on March 1, Los Blancos returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Eibar this Saturday.
Karim Benzema scored dual goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Benzema ('14, '25) and Rodríguez ('29). Leading 3-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Asensio Marco in the 60th minute.
Real Madrid climbed to first place with 59 points from 25 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
