SPAIN, Mar. 5, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 26: After their 1-1 draw against Deportivo La Coruna on March 2, Los Colchoneros returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Valencia this Sunday.
Antoine Griezmann scored dual goals
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Antoine Griezmann in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Gameiro '48 and Griezmann '83).
Atletico Madrid remains in fourth place with 49 points from 26 games, 6 points behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
