La Liga (Week 31) : Las Palmas beats Betis 4-1
SPAIN, Apr. 9, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 31: After losing 3-1 to Celta Vigo on April 6 and 3-1 to Eibar on April 6, Los Amarillos bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Real Betis this Sunday.
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gomez Vicente in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Boateng '49, Viera Jonathan '62 and Rodriguez Jese '83/penalty).
UD Las Palmas remains in 13rd place with 38 points from 31 games, one point behind Valencia CF.
