La Liga (Week 21) : Real Madrid beats Celta Vigo 4-1
SPAIN, May. 17, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 21: Five wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their success against Deportivo La Coruna, Valencia, Granada and Sevilla, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 4-1 victory over Celta Vigo this Wednesday.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored dual goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Ronaldo '48, Benzema '70 and Kroos '88).
Real Madrid remains in first place with 90 points from 37 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
