SPAIN, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 7: After 6 straigth defeats, Los Babazorros bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Levante this Saturday.
Alavés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Munir El Haddadi in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Babazorros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Medrán with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Levante UD remains in 9th place with 9 points from 7 games, tie on points with Real Sociedad, which has a game in hand.
