SPAIN, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 7: After losing 4-0 to Getafe on September 24, El Submarino Amarillo returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Eibar this Sunday.
Bakambu Cedric scored tripple goals
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bakambu Cedric in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Bakambu Cedric '52, '76/penalty).
Villarreal CF climbed to 9th place with 10 points from 7 games, tie on points with Real Sociedad.
