La Liga (Week 7) : Real Madrid beats Espanyol 2-0
SPAIN, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their 1-2 win against Alavés on September 23, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Espanyol this Sunday.
Isco scored dual goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Isco in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Isco in the 71st minute.
Real Madrid climbed to fifth place with 14 points from 7 games, only one point behind Atletico Madrid.
