SPAIN, Sep. 24, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 6: After their 0-0 draw against Villarreal on September 21, Los Periquitos returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Sunday.
Gerard Moreno scored dual goals
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to goals from Baptistao Leonardo ('5) and Arribas ('22 own). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Moreno '72/penalty, '90).
RCD Espanyol climbed to 10th place with 8 points from 6 games, tie on points with Athletic Bilbao.
