La Liga (Week 12) : Bilbao draw 1-1 with Villarreal
SPAIN, Nov. 19, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 12: Villarreal was held to a 1-1 draw by Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
Villarreal players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Villarreal midfielder Trigueros Manuel in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Athletic Bilbao with a saving goal from Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz in the 77th minute.
Villarreal CF are down in 6th place with 21 points from 12 games, one point behind Sevilla FC.
