La Liga (Week 12) : Girona hold Real Sociedad to 1-1
SPAIN, Nov. 17, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 12: The match between Girona and Real Sociedad ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Real Sociedad players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Jose Willian in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Girona with a saving goal from Uruguayan forward Christian Stuani in the 64th minute.
Real Sociedad remains in 7th place with 18 points from 12 games, one point behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
