La Liga (Week 13) : Betis and Girona play out 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Nov. 25, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 13: The match between Real Betis and Girona ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Girona players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Girona midfielder Portu Cristian in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Portu Cristian goal ('90) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Betis with goals by Guardado Andres ('85) and Cristian Tello ('90).
Real Betis climbed to 8th place with 18 points from 13 games, tie on points with Real Sociedad, which has a game in hand.
