La Liga (Week 13) : Eibar defeats Alavés 2-1
SPAIN, Nov. 25, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Eibar. After their 5-0 win against Real Betis on November 20, the Armeros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Alavés this Saturday.
Eibar dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Joan Jordán in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Armeros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dias Charles in the 69th minute.
SD Eibar climbed to 14th place with 14 points from 13 games, only one point behind Levante UD, which has a game in hand.
