La Liga (Week 14) : Eibar beats Espanyol 3-1
SPAIN, Dec. 3, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 14: Three wins in a row for Eibar. After their success against Real Betis and Alavés, the Armeros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Espanyol this Sunday.
Eibar dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kike Garcia ('9) and Alejo Ivan ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Armeros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jordán on penalty in the 69th minute.
SD Eibar climbed to 13rd place with 17 points from 14 games, tie on points with Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
