SPAIN, Dec. 3, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 14: After four straigth defeats, Los Pepineros returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Villarreal this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Rico Diego ('72), El Zhar Nabil ('81) and Appelt Gabriel ('90).
Villarreal CF remains in 6th place with 21 points from 14 games, 7 points behind Sevilla FC.
