League One (Week 1) : Port Vale draw 1-1 with Walsall

ENGLAND, Aug. 9, 2014 (AMP) — League One: Port Vale and Walsall opened the 2014-2015 season with an entertaining 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Port Vale players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Pope in the 25th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Walsall with a saving goal from Bradshaw in the 59th minute.
