ENGLAND, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — League One / Match day 5: After their 0-0 draw against Fleetwood Town on August 23, the Spireites bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Port Vale this Saturday.
Doyle opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Port Vale catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Marshall. 1-1 at half time. The Spireites eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Roberts in the 46th minute.
Chesterfield FC climbed to fifth place with 10 points from 5 games, tie on points with Bradford City AFC.
