League One (Week 26) : Gillingham defeats Coventry 3-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 26: After three straigth defeats, the Gills bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City this Saturday.
Coventry City had started off well by taking the lead in the 35th minute with a goal by Madine on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Gills nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Marquis '82, Mcdonald '88 on penalty and Glashan '90).
Coventry City FC remains in 18th place with 29 points from 26 games, tie on points with Scunthorpe United FC, which has three games in hand.
