League One (Week 28) : Barnsley beats Port Vale 2-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 31, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 28: After losing 1-0 to Doncaster Rovers on January 24 and 2-0 to Milton Keynes Dons on January 24, the Tykes bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Port Vale this Saturday.
Barnsley dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Neal in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Tykes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pearson in the 46th minute.
Port Vale FC are down in 14th place with 35 points from 28 games, tie on points with Notts County FC, which has a game in hand.
