ENGLAND, Mar. 14, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 36: 6 wins in a row for Barnsley. After their success against Crewe Alexandra, Scunthorpe United, Gillingham, Coventry City and Walsall, the Tykes continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Oldham Athletic this Saturday.
Nyatanga scored dual goals
Barnsley dominated the first half thanks to goals from Nyatanga ('33) and Hourihane ('39). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Tykes further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Nyatanga in the 70th minute.
Barnsley FC climbed to 6th place with 53 points from 36 games, only one point behind Sheffield United FC, which has a game in hand.
