ENGLAND, Mar. 14, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Preston. After their 0-2 win against Milton Keynes Dons on March 7, the Lilywhites continued their sensational form in the League One with a 5-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.
Garner served up another goal feast
Preston dominated the first half thanks to goals from Garner ('11, '24). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Garner '72, '79 and Beckford '82).
Preston North End FC remains in second place with 69 points from 35 games, 11 points behind Bristol City FC.
