League One (Week 40) : Scunthorpe defeats Peterborough 2-0

ENGLAND, Apr. 3, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 40: After their 2-2 draw against Notts County on March 28, the Iron returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Peterborough United this Friday.

Scunthorpe United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Madden in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Iron further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Robinson in the 73rd minute.

Peterborough United FC remains in 9th place with 56 points from 40 games, tie on points with Barnsley FC, which has a game in hand.
