ENGLAND, Apr. 25, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 45: After three straigth draws, the Valiants bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Yeovil Town this Saturday.
Port Vale dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pope in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Valiants further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Brown with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Port Vale FC climbed to 17th place with 54 points from 45 games, 2 points behind Oldham Athletic AFC.
