League One (Week 44) : Port Vale and Preston play out 2-2 draw
ENGLAND, Apr. 17, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 44: Preston was held to a 2-2 draw by Port Vale on Friday.
Preston players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Johnson in the 12th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Garner goal on penalty ('59) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Port Vale with dual goals from O Connor ('52/penalty and '85/penalty.
Preston North End FC remains in second place with 83 points from 43 games, 9 points behind Bristol City FC.
