ENGLAND, Apr. 21, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 31: After three straigth draws, the Lilywhites bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Notts County this Tuesday.
Beckford scored dual goals
Preston dominated the first half thanks to goals from Beckford ('23) and Garner ('31). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Beckford with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Preston North End FC climbed to second place with 86 points from 44 games, 7 points behind Bristol City FC.
