O Brien Aiden opened the score in the 21st minute, before seeing Crewe Alexandra catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Dalla Valle Lauri. 1-1 at half time. The Lions eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by O Brien Aiden ('64, '74).
