ENGLAND, Sep. 12, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Gillingham. After their 1-0 win against Doncaster Rovers on September 5, the Gills continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Blackpool this Saturday.
Gillingham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Loft Doug in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gills further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dack Bradley with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Gillingham FC remains in first place with 17 points from 7 games, one point ahead of runner-up Walsall FC.
