ENGLAND, Sep. 19, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 8: After losing 0-1 to Shrewsbury Town on September 12, the Shrimpers bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Millwall this Saturday.
Southend United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mooney David in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Shrimpers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Barrett Adam in the 49th minute.
Millwall FC are down in 13rd place with 10 points from 8 games, tie on points with Colchester United FC.
