ENGLAND, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Southend United. After their 0-2 win against Millwall on September 19, the Shrimpers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Scunthorpe United this Saturday.
Mcsheffrey Gary opened the score in the 8th minute, before seeing Southend United catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Timlin Michael. 1-1 at half time. The Shrimpers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Coker Ben in the 75th minute.
Southend United FC climbed to 13rd place with 12 points from 9 games, tie on points with Port Vale FC.
