Fleetwood Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Proctor Jamie in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cod Army further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Grant Bobby '58, '71 and Hunter Ashley '80).
