League One (Week 23) : Gillingham defeats Swindon 3-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Gillingham. After their 0-3 win against Millwall on December 19, the Gills continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Swindon Town this Saturday.
Swindon Town opened the score in the score in the 18th minute thanks to Obika Jonathan, before Gillingham regained the advantage with Dack Bradley ('19) and Hessenthaler Jake ('35). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Gills further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jackson Ryan in the 69th minute.
Gillingham FC remains in third place with 44 points from 23 games, one point behind Burton Albion FC, which has a game in hand.
