ENGLAND, Jan. 12, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 23: Wigan Athletic was held to a 3-3 draw by Sheffield United on Tuesday.
Wigan Athletic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Grigg Will ('16) and Vuckic Haris ('43). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, and despite Mccann Chris goal ('66) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Sheffield United with goals by Done Matt ('68, '89) and Sharp Billy ('75).
Wigan Athletic FC remains in fifth place with 45 points from 26 games, 3 points behind Coventry City FC.
