League One (Week 26) : Wigan Athletic beats Gillingham 3-2
ENGLAND, Jan. 7, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 26: After four straigth victories against Millwall, Swindon Town, Colchester United and Bradford City, the Gills lost 3-2 against Wigan Athletic.
Gillingham had started off well by taking the lead in the 24th minute with a goal by Samuel Dominic. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Latics nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Grigg Will '64, Power Max '67 and Morgan Craig '90).
Gillingham FC remains in second place with 50 points from 26 games, one point behind Burton Albion FC, which has two games in hand.
