League One (Week 26) : Chesterfield beats Rochdale 3-2
ENGLAND, Jan. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Chesterfield. After their 7-1 win against Shrewsbury Town on January 2, the Spireites continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-2 victory over Rochdale this Saturday.
Chesterfield dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by O Shea Jay in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spireites further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Novak Lee '78 and Ebanks-blake Sylvan '80).
Rochdale AFC are down in 11st place with 34 points from 25 games, 2 points behind Port Vale FC.
