League One (Week 24) : Wigan Athletic beats Fleetwood 3-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 28, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Wigan Athletic. After their 0-2 win against Barnsley on December 19, the Latics continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Fleetwood Town this Monday.
Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kellett Andy in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hiwula Jordi '83 and Jacobs Michael '90).
Wigan Athletic FC climbed to fifth place with 40 points from 23 games, 4 points behind Coventry City FC.
