League One (Week 28) : Gillingham defeats Peterborough 2-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 28: After their 2-2 draw against Doncaster Rovers on January 16, the Gills bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Peterborough United this Saturday.
Peterborough United had started off well by taking the lead in the 25th minute with a goal by Oztumer Erhun. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Gills nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Norris Luke '49 and Dack Bradley '65).
Gillingham FC climbed to first place with 54 points from 28 games, tie on points with runner-up Burton Albion FC, which has two games in hand.
