ENGLAND, Mar. 28, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 39: After three straigth draws, the Iron returned to winning ways with a 6-0 victory over Swindon Town this Monday.
Hopper Tom scored dual goals
Scunthorpe United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Townsend Conor ('27) and Clarke Jordan ('44). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Iron further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Adelakun Hakeeb '48, Hopper Tom '52, '76 and Madden Paddy '62).
Scunthorpe United FC climbed to 10th place with 56 points from 39 games, tie on points with Coventry City FC, which has a game in hand.
