ENGLAND, Apr. 5, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 39: After their 0-0 draw against Chesterfield on April 2 and 1-1 draw against Swindon Town on April 2, the Cod Army returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Peterborough United this Tuesday.
Fleetwood Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Burns Wes in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cod Army further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jonsson Eggert in the 68th minute.
Peterborough United FC remains in 14th place with 54 points from 40 games, 2 points behind Port Vale FC.
