ENGLAND, Sep. 10, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Northampton Town. After their 3-2 win against Milton Keynes Dons on September 4, the Cobblers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-0 victory over Walsall this Saturday.
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Taylor Matthew in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Revell Alex on penalty in the 78th minute.
Northampton Town FC climbed to 8th place with 11 points from 7 games, tie on points with Bury FC.
