ENGLAND, Sep. 10, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 7: After losing 3-1 to Port Vale on August 27, the Iron returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Southend United this Saturday.
Scunthorpe United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Madden Paddy ('36) and Van Veen Kevin ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Iron further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Morris Josh '57 and Smallwood Richard '87).
Scunthorpe United FC climbed to second place with 13 points from 6 games, 2 points behind Bolton Wanderers FC.
