ENGLAND, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 5: After two straigth victories against AFC Wimbledon and Gillingham, the Iron lost 3-1 against Port Vale.
Jones Alexander scored dual goals
Forrester Anton opened the score in the 33rd minute, before seeing Scunthorpe United catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Morris Josh. 1-1 at half time. The Valiants eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Jones Alexander ('49, '84).
