ENGLAND, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 5: After losing 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers on August 20, the Cod Army bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Southend United this Saturday.
Fleetwood Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Long Chris in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cod Army further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hunter Ashley in the 77th minute.
Fleetwood Town FC climbed to 8th place with 8 points from 5 games, only one point behind Peterborough United FC.
