League One (Week 5) : Gillingham defeats Shrewsbury 3-2

ENGLAND, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 5: After losing 5-0 to Scunthorpe United on August 20, the Gills returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Shrewsbury Town this Saturday.

Emmanuel-thomas Jay scored dual goals

Shrewsbury Town had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Dodds Louis ('17, '30). Trailing 2-0 at half time, the Gills nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Emmanuel-thomas Jay '59, '73 and Ehmer Max '90).

Gillingham FC climbed to 6th place with 10 points from 5 games, tie on points with Millwall FC.
